Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

Discover the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program created to provide affordable dental care for Canadians who don’t have private dental insurance and earn a household income of less than $90,000 per year. By easing financial barriers, the CDCP makes it easier for more Canadians to access essential oral health services.

At Stonehaven Dentistry in Mississauga, we are proud to support this program and provide care to both new and existing patients who qualify.

Call us today at 905-364-0077 to learn more or book your appointment.

What Does the CDCP Cover?

The CDCP helps cover a wide range of dental services, with co-payment amounts based on your household income:

  • Endodontics: root canal therapy
  • Prosthodontics: full or partial dentures
  • Periodontal services: deep cleanings
  • Oral surgery: extractions

Some treatments may require prior approval depending on your dental needs and health history.

Using CDCP with Other Government Dental Benefits

If you already receive dental benefits through programs such as:

  • Healthy Smiles Ontario
  • Ontario Works (OW)
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

…the CDCP will typically serve as your primary coverage, with other programs coordinated accordingly.

Talk to Us About Treatment Costs

Since the CDCP does not always cover 100% of treatment costs, we recommend discussing any potential out-of-pocket fees with our team before your appointment.

At Stonehaven Dentistry, we’re here to make quality dental care more accessible for our community. Contact us to find out how we can help you benefit from the CDCP and maintain your healthiest smile!
